My Favorite Juicing Recipes

Juicing is nothing new in my family, I grew up with your classic green juice always being served at the dinner table. I could lie and say it was life-changing and ever since I started juicing on my own I’ve noticed significant changes in my health, but truth be told I’m not sure if juicing really made a huge difference for me. Now if we’re talking about immunity shots that’s a whole other topic that I’ll get into another time! For now, my juicing rant will suffice. I love juice, especially homemade juice. Like I said earlier, I grew up with a mom who always made juice for me and my sister. We tried juice cleanses but they really didn’t do much for us. Even though the concept of “juicing” has a bad reputation it doesn’t mean we should just reject juice altogether! Juicing is still 100% better than buying store-bought juice! Also, these juices are just that good!

These are my favorite juicing recipes that I think you might like as well! I will say that organic options are preferred but you can use whatever you have!


GREEN JUICE 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 

  • 1 large cucumber 

  • 2 limes

  • 4 leaves of romaine lettuce 

  • 5 leaves kale, including stems 

  • 1 bunch of parsley or cilantro (or both if you're feeling extra)

  • 1 head celery 

  • Green apple for sweetness (optional)

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Make sure all your veggies and fruits are washed

  2. Peel your limes (yes peel) 

  3. Put all veggies through your juicer 

  4. Drink immediately because this is too good to wait for


SUNSHINE JUICE

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 3 large thumbs turmeric 

  • 1 large thumb ginger

  • 1 lemon

  • 5-10 large carrots

  • 1-2 cups ripe pineapple 

  • 8 medium oranges peeled 

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Make sure all your veggies and fruits are washed

  2. Peel your lemon (yes peel) 

  3. Put all ingredients through your juicer 

  4. Pace yourself because this can be hard to drink all at once 


PURPLE JUICE

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 1 large beet

  • 2 large thumbs of ginger 

  • 1 lemon

  • 6-7 stalks of celery

  • 1-3 leaves of kale 

  • 4-6 apples chopped

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Make sure all your veggies and fruits are washed

  2. Peel your lemon (yes peel) 

  3. Put all ingredients through your juicer 

  4. Drink immediately because it’s just that good


YELLOW JUICE 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 

  • ½ of 1 pineapple 

  • 2-4 oranges 

  • 1 lime 

  • A large thumb of ginger

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Make sure all your veggies and fruits are washed

  2. Peel your lemon (yes peel) 

  3. Put all ingredients through your juicer 

  4. Enjoy (I ran out of final step ideas)
