Paint, even if you “suck.”
With the rise of AI usage, it’s not surprising to see people explore what AI can do. It’s a great tool to help with businesses and sometimes simplifies a 3-day task into just a couple of hours. However, there’s a dark side to AI, I’m sure most know of but aren’t completely prepared to face.
AI is being used to take away creativity.
It’s not just stealing art, it’s stealing ideas, taking something from another artist, be it a writer, a painter, or even a blogger.
It’s incredibly easy to use, so no wonder people abuse it, but I’m exhausted seeing AI take over the art world, and I’m sure artists feel the same.
So start painting, start writing, start that blog or business. Doesn’t matter if you think it sucks or if someone tells you it’s terrible; create and continue to create.
We need the painters, the poets, the herbalists.
Make weird things, say the odd opinion, write a cheesy poem or song. We all start somewhere, but whatever you do, don’t abuse AI.
Because at the end of the day, the world needs your fingerprints on something real. Your voice, your hands, your soul. Creativity isn’t supposed to be perfect; it’s supposed to be yours. So show up, make the messy thing, and keep creating even when it feels small. That’s where the magic lives.
