5 Must-Haves for Spring
I’ve always loved spring! It’s a season of rebirth, new growth, out with the old and in with the new. And your wardrobe should be the same.
As the days get warmer and the need for a coat is no more I feel like this spring season is a great way to explore new trends I feel might stay around for a while.
Now if you know me you know I HATE microtrends. It’s a waste of your wallet and not sustainable at all. I work in the fashion industry and one thing I love about the company I work for is that the clothes are high quality and wearable in the office, at home, and everywhere else. The best part? It’s all timeless.
Here are some spring must-haves that you will keep for many spring seasons to come. And a worthy investment for your wallet.
Denim Mini Skirts
I know we’re all traumatized from the times our mothers put us in awkward-length denim skirts. However, I think the denim mini is to die for. I love how versatile it is! You can style it with just about anything in your closet if you have the creative mind for it.
Wide Leg Shorts
A classic, I love to see it on shelves and I hope this trend never ends! It’s so comfortable and with the right fabric, professional. It can be worn anywhere, which is especially useful if you live in the southern heat.
Floral Midi Dresses
Not just any floral midi dress, a structured floral midi dress can take you from 1-100 real quick. Classy, trendy, and timeless.
Espadrilles
The espadrille is a very seasonal shoe, you can only wear it during the spring and summer seasons. This shouldn’t discourage you from getting a pair though. These shoes last for years and never go out of style. A true essential.
Bold Colors
Muted colors are cute, but I think this is the season to be bold and make a statement. Nothing says bold like fun crazy colors to style. Don’t be afraid to mix bold colors and bold patterns.
